Quality Assurance Engineer

The QA engineer will be responsible for creating and performing application, usability, functional, and performance tests for our multiple websites during a fast track product release cycle. You will need to evaluate testing results and enter problem reports in a problem tracking system, review product specifications and generate test plans and test cases for products under test and communicate product readiness, level of quality, and results to the CTO and the project team. 

Responsibilities:

*	Design and execute black box level tests of user interface and user experience. 
*	Design and execute minimum white-box tests and scripts where directed. 
*	Design and execute feature/function tests. 
*	Design and execute user interface testing.
*	Ensure internal standards are adhered too.
*	Conduct cross browser compatibility tests.
*	Design and execute regression and interoperability testing. 
*	Clearly and effectively document errors detected in testing cycle. 
*	Coordinate with developers to ensure proper correction of bugs/errors. 
*	Track change requests and provide follow-up on defect resolution. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

*	Strong computer skills with an ability to troubleshoot and follow direction. 
*	Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail. 
*	Team player. 
*	Strong organizational time management skills. 
*	Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
*	Ability to prioritize work effectively. 
*	Dependable and flexible. 
*	Ability to deal with multiple priorities. 
*	Linux, Apache, mySQL and PHP experience.
*	Familiarity with a broad range of web design technologies. 
*	Demonstrated knowledge of Internet and accompanying technologies.
*	At least 3 years experience in web publishing QA projects. 
*	Experience and samples of test plans and testing methodology.
