Web Technology Manager with Development Skills - Perm 90K

Find a new home as you head up the Online Media department of a hip and
trendy magazine publisher. You will design and produce engaging websites
that extend existing print brands and maximize ad revenue in conjunction
with editorial initiatives and brand identities. 
 
In this senior technical position you will need to be very hands-on with
the interactive projects. You will be responsible for 3 magazine sites
and manage two web designers who will report directly to you. Your
programming skills are helpful, and knowledge of Word Press software,
(or other content management systems) and Adobe CS3 are required.
 
For your consideration:
Partner with online ad sales team to create brand-integrated campaigns
such as micro-sites, contests, and takeovers.
Assisting with outside vendors to manage hosting solutions and develop
custom applications, including a social network system
Active liaison between technical and business teams.
Maintain accounts with managed hosting and content distribution
networks.
 
Requirements:
**At least 3-5 years producing/maintaining websites and 1-2 years
experience working with WordPress as a content management system, not
just blogging knowledge of HTML and CSS. 
**Familiar with PHP in context of WordPress or other content management
system. 
**Can hand code table-less designs 
**Proficient use of PhotoShop and Illustrator is also required.

Familiarity with the following:
**Usability and browser compatibility issues
**JavaScript/AJAX
**Some Flash experience is helpful

This is a full-time position for work on-site in NYC with a salary range
up to 90K.
