This is a full time, on-site, salaried Sr. PHP Developer position located in
New York City paying $90,000-110,000 depending on experience + benefits +

Our New York City client powers personalized, authentic word-of-mouth
marketing for retailers and brands. Their technology combines the viral
distribution benefits of a share utility with more consumer influence power
than anonymous reviews, and it works online and with any mobile device.
Using their technology, retailers and brands enable customer conversations
that influence consideration at every point along the purchase decision
path. 

They are looking for a detail-oriented, senior-level developer with
extensive experience writing PHP code for large-scale, web-based
applications. You will play a key role in helping lead their development
efforts and building our application portfolio. 

Required Skills: 

* 5+ years experience with PHP 
* OOP 
* Experience with an MVC framework (preferably Symfony) 
* Extensive experience with source control and version control tools
(preferably Subversion) 
* Thorough understanding of Social Networking and Web 2.0 technologies 
* Extensive experience building and working with internal and external API's

* Strong experience with MySQL 
* Ability to work in a small team and build consensus with colleagues

* Expert level CSS, including best practices, standards and optimization
techniques 
* Expert with cross-browser compatibility 
* Expert level html, XHTML 
* Knowledgeable in page load time optimization 
* Experience with OO JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery 
* Experience with developing applications using Model View Controller design
patterns 
* Experience with source control and version control tools (preferably
Subversion) 
* Experience with Linux command line 
* Understanding of Social Networking and Web 2.0 technologies 
* Experience using 3rd party development API's (Facebook, Google, etc.)
