(1)  PHP Developer - 80K Range (Can go higher, D.O.E.)



 


My client creates and maintain a high traffic website with over 25MM unique monthly visitors, featuring music station streams - available online and via iPhone - with audio and video programming; site allows fans to discover new music - offering millions of tracks in every genre and thousands of independent artists and labels. 



 


REQUIREMENTS:


Solid PHP, MySQL Programming skills


Understanding of Javascript, HTML, CSS


Desired skills:  
Good with PHP/jQuery/XML (XPath plus methods for parsing XML in PHP and jQuery).  
Wordpress plugin and theme development skills, Integration with web services and third party APIs a plus.   
XML, Atom, Publishing, SVN/Git a plus. Salary range is 80K, but could go higher
 
for someone more experienced.



 



(2)  Lead PHP Developer - 100K plus equity potential


 


My client is the innovator behind the first online movie theater! They're partnering with movie studios to allow special pre-screenings that will enhance the theatrical release of a film, and allow bloggers to view sneak previews to create additional buzz. Strategic alliances with marketing companies, and film festivales (like Sundance) are in the works. The product is in Beta -- this is an exciting time to join! 


 


Job requirements: 


 


Seeking a talented PHP/MySQL Engineer -- excellent problem solving skills -- with at least 4+ yrs professional experience who is realy strong with databases / stress testing / load balancing / Akamai. Ability to program in Java is a plus.  Compensation includes equity stake plus salary. Office located in 
Manhattan
. 


 


This role will start out as a 2-3 month contract, with the expectation of becoming a fulltime permanent role.
