looking for a Ruby on Rails/Social API Developer. $60-70/hr is ideal, but let's so who we find.
Need a consultant for 3 months may go longer.
Job Description
The Software Engineer will be responsible for building high-quality web software with either Java, PHP or Ruby frameworks, maintaining existing web properties, and participating in the planning/creative phase for new projects. Extensive knowledge of social media APIs (such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter) is preferred. Ability to work on an agile team in a fast-paced environment is essential. The Software Engineer will report to the Director of Technology.
 Desired Skills & Experience

* Minimum 2 Years Experience

* Expert knowledge of Java, PHP or Ruby

* Knowledge of server administration/deployment strategies

* knowledge of social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter YouTube et al)

* Experience in implementing performance testing metrics

* Experience in developing high-traffic sites

* jQuery knowledge a plus

* Experience with Git

* Experience developing on a Mac (since we're a Mac office)

* MySQL, SQLite3, Postgres
