[JOB #1] PHP/Symfony Developer - NYC | 70-100k  

This is a full time, on-site, salaried PHP/Symfony Developer position
located in New York City paying a salary of $70,000 to $100,000 depending on
experience + benefits. No telecommuting allowed. US Citizens or Green Card

Our New York City start-up client the first global movie theater. Currently
in beta, they show feature length films for live social audiences online.
With deep relationships in Hollywood and access to top content including
both independent and studio films, they are well-positioned to become a
disruptive force in the media distribution and exhibition businesses, and is
already generating significant revenues pre-launch. Seed funding in place.  

We are looking for a developer who is honest, team-oriented, hard-working,
and highly motivated. New hires will be members of a small, intensely
focused team iterating quickly on a complex product. We want someone who is
highly skilled, excited by a challenge and the prospect of making something
new.  The ideal candidate would have expertise across a range of languages
and frameworks:  

REQUIRED: PHP, Symfony, CSS, JavaScript, HTML 

DESIRED: Python Tornado, Amazon Web Services; MongoDB, Solr. Knowledge of
video streaming technologies is also highly desirable.

[JOB #2] Sr. LAMP Developer, NYC | 120-140k 

This is a full time, on-site, salaried Senior LAMP Developer position paying
$120,000-$140,000 depending on experience + benefits.  No telecommuting
allowed.  US Citizens or Green Card holders only please. candidates strongly
preferred, but candidates interested in relocating considered as well.  Full

Our client is looking for a detail oriented, senior-level developer with
extensive experience writing PHP code for large-scale, web-based
applications. You will play a key role in helping lead the development
efforts and building their application portfolio. Only senior-level
developers should apply. Our ideal candidate will have a track record of
delivering high quality work on time and on budget. You must be flexible and
able to thrive within a dynamic, fast-paced environment while adhering to
our processes and policies.  

Required Skills: 

* 5+ years experience with LAMP 
* Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) 
* Experience with an MVC framework (PREFERABLY Symfony)   
* Extensive experience with source control and version control tools
(preferably Subversion) 
* Thorough understanding of Social Networking and Web 2.0 technologies 
* Extensive experience building and working with internal and external API's

* Strong experience with MySQL 
* Ability to work in a small team and build consensus with colleagues  

Preferred Skills:  

* Experience with JSON and AJAX 
* Knowledge of UNIX system administration 
* Experience working with API's from 3rd parties such as Facebook and
MySpace  
* Experience with SMS technologies
