Depends on what third-party components you will be using. Some are not yet compatible with 1.5, so you wouldn't want to wait for 1.5 because you couldn't use the component until it was also upgraded.

I have a project that i want to get going but I'd rather have it on J! 1.5. Is it better to just sit and wait, put out 1.0 and upgrade, or do flat files because it will be a while for 1.5?
