Scott,
No reprovisioning done on the server. Just a restore and reboot of the server.
I understand that a php upgrade would probably be helpful but I'm not a network engineer and I don't know how to do what you mention below
'just upload a php info to the server and run that'
how can Joomla 2.5 have installed fine and now I'm trying to restore with Akeeba Backup and it won't work?
