You process the first payment like a normal transaction but tell them to
store the information. They give you back a billing id and that is all
you need to bill that customer again. It releases you from the
liability of storing credit card numbers. The transactions don't have
to be scheduled either. You can have it bill the first of every month
if you want but you don't need to. We use it in places where there is a
limited interface for entering cc info. We just verify the user and use
the billing id that we have store to bill customers when they place orders.
