Do any of you guys commute to NYC from New Jersey? I
currently live in New Jersey and am planning to accept
a contract in NYC. It is on a 1099, and I have heard
that if you work in NYC you have to pay a city tax. Is
this true? If so how much is it, and would I have to
pay it even if I'm on a 1099? I am trying to decide
between 2 job offers right now, one of them is in New
Jersey, and the other one is in NYC.
