*Tech Lead*
*New York City or Los Angeles*

Established startup needs a Tech Lead to improve their core digital
product, design and build new web-based services, and help them to continue
growing exponentially.


*Main Responsibilities*:


   - Build, maintain, and continuously improve their product development
   and digital service
   - Collaborate with Founder, Managing and Marketing Leads to implement an
   excellent user interface and user experience
   - Effectively manage all technology decisions and issues
   - Find and manage development partners/freelancers as needed
   - Troubleshoot and solve technical issues
   - Consult on various new and existing projects

 *Requirements*:


   - MVC-based experience in CakePHP (or can learn quickly)
   - HTML5, CSS3, and an understanding of presentation layer development
   - AJAX, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery preferred)
   - Search Engine Optimization techniques and semantically correct coding
   - Integration of social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.)
   - Experience with creating mobile-optimized sites

 *Preferred Qualities*:


   - Mobile application development experience and interest
   - Personal network of partners/freelancers
   - Experience with database integrations or CRM platforms
   - Desire to take on increasing roles and responsibilities
